Ymir Labs was founded in 2026 by Oviezibe Gift Jack, who works on it full-time. It is the AI research lab of Nutin Technologies, and it is global in outlook and audience: developers, companies, researchers and learners anywhere.
01The lab
One question, worked on full-time.
Ymir Labs works on how to get far more useful intelligence out of every unit of compute. Its flagship product, Candid, is in research and design and will be built once the lab is funded.
The lab is remote and global. The problem it works on is the same wherever compute is expensive, which is to say almost everywhere.
The name
In Norse myth, Ymir is the primordial giant from whom the world was made. We take only the lightest version of that idea: raw material for something larger.
02The founder
Oviezibe Gift Jack
Founder. Solo, full-time.
Oviezibe is a 19-year-old, self-directed builder who ships fast. He wrote Candid’s full research specification and a costed build plan. Since August 2026 he has built, alone:
Heaven’s Gate
An original open-world action game that runs in the browser: a procedural 3D city, driving, combat, a campaign, and all sound synthesised in code. One engine build is about 6,000 lines of dependency-free JavaScript, holding 60 fps at 7 draw calls per frame on his own benchmark harness.

03Team
Why a team of one is worth saying out loud.
Today the team is one person. We say so plainly, because it shapes everything else. A team of one has to take small steps that can be checked, and every claim on this site has a single person accountable for it.
